Keita is a second generation massage therapist in her family, and has been practicing massage therapy professionally for over 25 years. Her main style of practice is Integrative Hawaiian LomiLomi which is customized and fine-tuned for each individual. Flowing, seamless motions are adapted to the tempo of one’s breath and pulse. Rhythmic pressures ease into steady depth, opening blocked energy with fluid range of motion stretches, releasing tension and unraveling stress. Mana Lomi Bodywork requires the practitioner to listen deeply to the life-force within the receiver. This is best accessed as the receiver focuses on their breath, allowing it to flow fully and naturally. The space where deeper levels of healing are accessed is where the breath and pulse rhythms harmonize. 🍃 Keita has studied at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY, The Esalen Institute in Big Sur, CA, Maui School of Therapeutic Massage in Maui, HI, and Lotus Palm in Montreal, CA. Keita is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and has been licensed in Massachusetts since 2004. Keita is also trained in Swedish, deep tissue, sports, neuromuscular therapy, prenatal/ postpartum, infant, Thai bodywork, hot stones, aromatherapy, and pain management.
